Known for his performative installations, Tresset explores the representation of human presence and experience using AI, robotics, and traditional media. Tresset studied at Goldsmiths College in London where he earned a master’s and an MPhil. Since 2011 he had sixteen solo shows and his work has been exhibited in group exhibitions in museums, such as the Centre Pompidou, the Prada Foundation, the V&A, the MMCA in Seoul, the Grand Palais in Paris, BOZAR in Brussels, TAM in Beijing, Mcam in Shanghai, and the Mori Museum in Tokyo. He has received prizes from Lumen, Ars Electronica, Liedst Foundation and the Japan Media Festival. His installations have been featured in media, such as Art Press, Art Review, Beaux Arts, Frieze, Wired, Vice, BBC, DeWelle, Le Monde, The New York Times and Neural.
